We build upon communities

Community is the foundation of our security and well-being.
But community is not something everyone can take for granted - especially not people with intellectual disabilities, functional impairments or dementia.

IBG is designed to give these individuals access to the community.

IBG strengthens the community on care facilities and residents' individual autonomy

IBG actively supports the development of people with cognitive and physical function impairments in their communication and interaction with other residents, staff, and relatives.

IBG makes everyday information easily accessible and understandable. With IBG, citizens can see themselves as part of a community, for example through their own citizen profile, common photos in the gallery, or registrations for activities.

The easy access to information gives citizens an experience of autonomy by being able to access IBG's interactive touchscreens and app without being dependent on staff. The purpose of IBG is to strengthen citizens' digital skills and give them confidence to use other communication technologies.

IBG strengthens predictability, structure, and network for citizens in their own homes

IBG is designed for citizens receiving support in their own residences. With IBG, citizens can be part of one or more communities, gain an overview and structure of their daily lives, and stay updated on the opportunities offered by, for example, a club, an activity center, or a job center.

The IBG app is a useful tool when citizens in their own homes need to develop their skills in living more independently, building networks, and participating in activities. Thus, IBG supports the efforts of professional staff in providing housing training and support to individual citizens.

Through the IBG app, citizens can either collectively or individually keep up with news from the residence and activity center, see which staff members are working on specific days, and sign up for activities within the communities they are part of. With IBG Groups, citizens also have the opportunity to be part of social networks across groups and receive reminders before an activity or if something new has happened within a group. This creates predictability, security, and structure for the individual.

IBG's various entrances increase accessibility for users and make IBG a unique communication platform for day and activity centres

IBG informs about daily schedules and upcoming activities, thus fostering cohesion across workshops, activity groups, and clubs within day and activity offerings. This meets a significant need among users for smooth and flexible communication.

With IBG, many people receive the same information simultaneously. Whether it's an activity in the nature group, a new employee in the craft workshop, or what's on the menu in the café, IBG ensures that both citizens and staff are informed when they arrive in the morning.

Should one forget something during the day, the information is always accessible for staying updated. With the IBG app and IBG Groups, it's also possible to communicate with individual users in small closed social networks. This way, day and activity offerings can reach all citizens, regardless of where they live or which community they are part of within the offering.

IBG offers many possibilities, but it's the clear and user-friendly interactive touchscreen that takes center stage in care homes

Communication between residents, staff, and relatives is tied together with IBG. For example, displaying photos and the daily menu are crucial elements for enhancing the residents' quality of life.

"Even though I'm 103 years old, I can still participate. I'm not dependent on help – I can do it myself!" says Holger Ringheim in the feature for TV2 News, which visited the care home where Holger lives, and IBG is implemented.

Holger Ringheim's joy in regaining independence is due to the fact that the information on the interactive touchscreen is easily accessible, clear, and activating. And the screens also contribute to giving the care home a professional, modern, and active profile outwardly.
